Christmas may seem months away ... but it's really only just around the corner, and if you're preparing to get your craft on, now is the time to start! Where did this year go? (don't we say that every year?!!!) But really, it feels like we just started 2022 a few months ago, and now we're about to head off to the 'BER' months - ho ho ho ho! SeptemBER OctoBER NovemBER and then DecemBER will be here before we know it!
Christmas is the most beautiful time of the year where we can give to those we love, and create magic for the little people in our lives. Oh, and the amazing food and festivities, delicious hot and cold Christmas fare, fresh seafood, and the list goes on …

- Get creative with Jelly Roll and Layer Cakes
- Make a Christmas wreath out of your favourite Jelly Roll and Layer Cakes Fabrics the simplest and easiest way. (We found this great tutorial here and we're sharing the great easy-to-follow images here:
Here are some of the craft necessities you'll need for your Christmas wreath project:
- Jelly Rolls
- Layer Cakes
- Glue
- Scissors

Paintbrush
- Felt in shades of green
- Ribbon to hang
- Buttons - red
- Foam wreath form – circle
Cut fabric into long strips that's enough to cover the foam wreath form and put some glue in the strip fabrics
Wrap the foam wreath with the fabric strips. Put more glue if needed to stick the fabric on the foam.
Once done covering the foam with fabrics let it dry. Cut the Felt in shades of green into leaves and design it with red buttons. Put some ribbon on the back to hang the wreath.
This project is super fun to make with your kids or grandkids and a great way to get into the Christmas spirt, making gifts and decorations for your friends and your home!
